Parola d’Artista:  Che importanza e che ruolo ha nel tuo lavoro il disegno?

Luca Pancrazzi: Questa è la domanda a cui dovrebbero rispondere tutti gli artisti e che dovrebbe essere la prima cosa che si legge nella biografia di un artista.

La matita che traccia un segno o modula un chiaro scuro, o crea campiture con tocchi svolazzanti o si fa strumento per il frottage è un po come il pianoforte in musica, lo si può suonare come fosse uno strumento ritmico o uno strumento melodico, oppure può contenere tutta l’orchestra.

Che lo si neghi o lo si nasconda, o lo si cancelli, il segno appartiene alla categoria del pensiero, prima ancora che alla tecnica.

Nella misura mentale dello spazio il disegno crea la forma e la mente la verifica in tempo reale costruendo poi le correzioni e le negazioni, che lavorano comunque in positivo verso il risultato finale.

Di solo segno voglio dipingere, di solo segno voglio volare…

Luca Pancrazzi: This is the question that all artists should answer and should be the first thing you read in an artist’s biography.

The pencil that traces a mark or modulates a chiaroscuro, or creates backgrounds with touches fluttering or becomes an instrument for frottage is a bit like the piano in music, one can suaon as if it were a rhythmic instrument or a melodic instrument, or it can contain the whole orchestra. Whether you deny it or hide it, or erase it, sign belongs to the category of thought, even before it belongs to technique.

In the mental measurement of space, the drawing creates the form and the mind verifies it in time real time by then constructing the corrections and negations, which still work positively toward the final result.

By sign alone I want to paint, by sign alone I want to fly….
